Southwest Wines offers Soleil Mimosa in 187ml aluminum can
Southwest Wines, a New Mexico-based sixth generation, family-owned and operated winery, has introduced a new sustainable 187ml aluminum can for its ready-to-drink (RTD) beverage Soleil Mimosa.
Previously known as St Clair Mimosa, the RTD beverage is a blend of premium sparkling wine and orange juice.
Developed by Bell Corporation, the single-serve slim cans are lightweight, unbreakable and stackable. They are now available in easy-to-carry four-pack formats.
The 187ml slim can is almost made up of recycled content and hence is completely recyclable.
Ball Corporation Americas metal beverage packaging division sales senior vice president Robert Miles said aluminum cans are suitable for all types of beverages as they can be carried anywhere, protect flavor and provide longer shelf life and are 100% recyclable.
"With eye-catching graphics and unique shapes and sizes, aluminum cans give active consumers expanded opportunities and venues to enjoy beverages in nontraditional settings," Miles added.
Southwest Wines marketing manager Robert Roeloffs said the 187ml slim aluminum can establishes the brand identity and reinforces the key aspects Mimosa product.
