Move Collective to introduce bobble hot, iced bottles

DBR Staff Writer Published 08 February 2013

Move Collective, a US-based maker of sleek, reusable, patented water bottle bobble, is set to introduce two new bottles for hot and cold drinks in more than 40,000 stores across three dozen countries.

Designed in partnership with industrial designer Karim Rashid, bobble iced bottle holds any cold drink - water, soda, juice, iced coffee - in a curvaceous 22oz/650ml frame. A reusable straw inside the bottle can be used as a mixer and the lid of the bottle is spill-resistant.

The bobble hot is a 15oz/450ml bottle that holds hot drinks, including coffee and tea. Both the bottles are made from durable Tritan and are free of BPA, Phthalates and PVC, claims the company.

Move Collective co-founder and creative director Stephanie Smiedt said: "We want to encourage people to bring their bobble hot or iced to the coffee shop. Together we can make disposable coffee cups a thing of the past."

Bobble hot and bobble iced are available currently at Best Buy (hot / iced) and Old Navy (hot), for $9.99 and $8.99 respectively.

The company plans to launch these products across the globe and through online at www.waterbobble.com in the first quarter of 2013.
