LaBelle Winery installs new bottling line
LaBelle Winery, a New Hampshire-based vineyard and winery, has installed a new bottling line at its facility in Amherst, New Hampshire.
The new bottling line features a rinser, filler, corker, sealer and computer-controlled labeler.
The new empty bottles are first cleaned from inside by a rinser before filling it with wine by a filler. The corker then corks the bottle before the bottle is sealed with a gold capsule. Finally, the computer-controlled labeler applies a label to each bottle.
LaBelle uses the new bottling line to bottle its latest batch of Riesling, a semi-sweet, aromatic white wine with notes of apple, peach and pear, and floral, honey overtones alongside citrus nuances and minerality on the palate.
The wine can be bottle-aged up to five years with 2% residual sugar and 3.02pH acidity.
