Eddyline Brewery in the US has equipped its production site with a new canning system from CFT Packaging USA.

The CFT canning line is claimed to minimize oxidation, loss of aroma, and inconsistent fills.

Its X-Ray fill level analyzer ensures all cans are perfectly filled while automatically rejecting underfilled cans.

The new expansion has the capability to produce in excess of 40,000 barrels of beer.

Eddyline Brewery is anticipated to produce 5,500 and 7,500 barrels of beer in 2015 and 2016, respectively.

Commenting on the expansion, Eddyline Brewery owner Mic Heynekamp said: "We have substantially invested in our brewery to increase our quality; we are only interested in making the best beers possible and critically examine our process from ingredient selection, to the brewing process, and finally packaging.

"Packaging was our weak link and we are excited to now being able to offer a superior product."

Eddyline currently distributes its beers in Colorado, with plans to expand to Arizona and New Mexico this year.
